DS Smith, Just Eat and Halma join FTSE 100 as reshuffle confirmed

(ShareCast News) - DS Smith, Just Eat and Halma will join the FTSE 100 next month after the latest quarterly index reshuffle was confirmed, with ConvaTec Group, Merlin Entertainments and Babcock International Group all demoted to the FTSE 250.

F&C Global Smaller Companies reported a hike in the value of its investment portfolio in its half yearly statement Monday - despite a tough macroeconomic environment holding back share prices.

F&C Global Smaller Companies saw its net asset value per share (NAV) rise 4.5% in the three months to the end of January, with investments in overseas companies generally outperforming the investment trust’s UK investments.
