Reckitt Benckiser replaces president of Hygiene Home business

(Sharecast News) - Consumer goods company Reckitt Benckiser on Wednesday announced that Hygiene Home's president, Rob de Groot, was stepping down from his post with immediate effect
With de Groot set to remain with the business unit until the end of a handover period in February 2020, Hygiene Home's chief financial officer Harold van den Broek has been selected as successor to the top job.

Van den Broek will also join the FTSE 100-listed company's executive committee, reporting directly to group chief executive Laxman Narasimhan.

The announcement follows the recent appointments of chief transformational officer Kris Licht and group chief financial officer Jeff Carr, who will both also sit on the executive committee.

"I would like to thank Rob for his 32 years of distinguished service. As president of Hygiene Home he has led the significant improvement in performance of the brands and created a strong purpose-led organisation, passionate about sustainability.

"I look forward to working with Harold, who has been a strategic partner to Rob throughout the establishment of Hygiene Home business unit, and is known for inspiring teams to deliver growth, with operational rigour," said Narasimhan.

Reckitt Benckiser shares were up by 0.20% at 5,916.00p at 1516 GMT.
